Benalla Street Art 2024 Community Conversation

Overview

Council is seeking community input to be part of the reinvigoration of the Benalla Street Art Festival in 2024.

After a 3-year hiatus due to COVID the community has shown an interest to restart the Benalla Street Art Festival. Council recognises the economic and community benefits which Benalla Street Art brings to our municipality and want to see it thrive again.

Community conversation
Community work shop to:
- Update, inform and invite people to be part of a reinvigorated Benalla Street Art Project in 2024.
- Determine a common vision and how to create a sustainable model for the future.
- Come together in a collaborative manner to acknowledge the successes and lessons learnt from past Festivals (2015-19) and ideas to ensure the Festival flourishes

Asking for community feedback

Council will engage with the community to seek input into the project.

An independent facilitator will review the community feedback and make a recommendation to the Council.

Recommendations from independant taken to the Council to make a decision at their meeting.
