Recycling is changing for the better
We’re investigating new waste and recycling services and supporting facilities so more resources can be recycled than ever before.
To cut waste and boost recycling and reuse, the Victorian Government requires councils to move to a four stream waste and recycling system by 2030. As a result, we are seeking your feedback on making this change.
Council is exploring introducing a mixture of kerbside collection and drop off points to suit urban and rural population needs.
These changes are planned to be introduced in July 2025.
We need your help to determine the best collection configuration for when we roll out the new waste and recycling system.
A small act makes a big impact.
Please note prices are based on 120L bins, and the base waste charge configuration price.
