As part of the Benalla Rural City Council Budget 2022/2023 funds have been allocated for the establishment of dog park facilities within Benalla Rural City.

A total of $100,000 has been allocated to this project and we estimate that several (between two and four) fenced off-leash areas could be delivered depending on the size and location chosen. Each new dog park would be developed with fencing, bench seating, water fountains for dogs and owners, and appropriate signage.

Nine suitable locations for the creation of fenced off-leash areas (dog parks) has been identified and these are presented below.

At the bottom of the page you will find a short survey, designed to capture the community's preferred location to create several new fenced off-leash areas (dog parks). The number we will be able to deliver will be dependent on the size and location of the new parks, however will likely be somewhere between two and four. Please use the survey below to indicate your top two (2) preferences and least preferred from the list of nine options.
